Unique, Stylish, Creative, Decadent, Buttery, and Scrumptious all come to mind when describing Kute Kouture Cookies.
Through KKC we are able to provide connoisseurs with something unique and conversation worthy. Our cookies are exclusive and irresistible. Kute Cookies are an absolute must have for any chic gathering.

ICC: Why did you decide to start Kute Cookies?

Kute Cookies: One of my mother’s co-workers was celebrating an engagement, and my mom was in charge of bringing a treat. I baked a batch of “bling ring” cookies and sent them to work with her. I’m always looking for a kute way to make a statement. The next day I started getting emails from her co-workers commenting on ‘how the cookies were pleasing to the eye and were also quite tasty.’ Their feedback resulted in my thinking I could do this for all types of events. I really enjoy transforming ordinary objects into fabulous creations so why not give it a try? I began researching information on small business startups and also invested in some materials. From there it was basically a leap of faith. I’m learning more and more as I go along. Kute Kouture Cookies have loads of style. I’m able to do something I enjoy, and share it with others.

ICC: Where do your recipes come from?

Kute Cookies: I purchased a couple of gourmet cookie books and tweaked the recipes. I kept baking for my family members and used their feedback to perfect my recipe.

ICC: Do you see your concept of Kute Kouture Cookies taking off like the resurgence of cupcakes?

Kute Cookies: Cookies are a tried and tested favorite. What I do is add a special flair to that favorite. Give it some “it” appeal. With that said, I’m hoping Kute Cookies will continuously grow from that foundation.

ICC: What has the response been so far?

Kute Cookies: Customers seem to enjoy the personal touch Kute Cookies adds. We capture the essence of your event in a buttery, tasty, portion perfect treat.

ICC: Tell us about some of your favorite cookies and designs?

Kute Cookies: My favorite designs are the high heeled stiletto cookies, and the bustier shaped cookies. I love them because they’re flirty, fem, and fun.

ICC: How often do you stop yourself from eating your own product? :-)

Kute Cookies: Honestly, I don’t eat the cookies at all. That is why I rely so heavily on feedback from others in perfecting my recipe.

ICC: Let’s say you could NEVER eat/bake another cookie again!…LOLWhat other sweet would take its place?

Kute Cookies: Wow, I’d have to say cakes. I’m always watching those cake challenges on the food network. I’d be sure to focus on the actual taste of the cake in addition to the look. They have some fierce designs- but I think the artists sometimes forget hey, we want to dig in and eat this beautiful creation when you’re done!

ICC: We read that future plans include Kute Cookie Creation Classes…When do you expect to launch this part of your business and can you give us a sneak peek into how the classes will be set up?

Kute Cookies: Within the next 3-5 years I’d love to open a Kute Kouture Cookie Boutique. There, customers may purchase fresh baked goods, host fab soirees, and even take hands on baking classes. I’d primarily gear the classes towards youth. They can celebrate birthday parties and even prepare holiday gifts there. Everyone will leave with a kute creation to take home.

ICC: What has been your greatest success and setback as an entrepreneur?

Kute Cookies: My entire venture is a success. As an entrepreneur, I’m constantly evaluating my current state, and also forecasting where I aspire to be. This forces me to focus on the positive efforts I have to take to make those aspirations a reality. Creating balance is often a bit of a struggle – that can be considered a set back. But set backs are only minor hurdles. The beauty of turbulence is that it’s only short lived.

ICC: Where do you see Kute Cookies in the next 5 years?

Kute Cookies: At ALL of your gatherings, parties, and events!

ICC: Where can your cookies be purchased?

Kute Cookies: Customers may order via my website www.kutecookies.com or by calling 708/261-7855. We coordinate a convenient pick up/delivery time and location when the order is placed.

ICC: What do you love about Chicago?

Kute Cookies: I LOVE the variety of restaurants, theatre, and shopping Chicago offers. Chicago is an extremely diverse city perfect for a new entrepreneur.
