I Cant Make This Shit Up!

I swear….watching the news and staying informed of what’s going in the world just doesn’t seem like it’s worth it at times. I just don’t understand people and their motives and train of thought.
Here are 3 recent news stories that have me scratching my head. Be sure to click the links yall……
1. Trevor Wikre is a senior offensive lineman for the Mesa State Mavericks, a Division II school in Grand Junction, Colo. A couple of weeks ago while practicing with the team Trevor broke his pinkie finger. The doctors said that it’s a bad break and that he’ll need surgery and wont be able to play the rest of year. You know what Trevor says to the doctors? Huh? Huh, do ya? He tells them to CUT HIS FINGER OFF! Really Trevor? You’re a senior, which means this SHOULD be your last year, but then again it wouldnt surprise me if it isnt with you making DUMB ASS decisions like this. So you would rather go the rest of your life with 9 fingers than to miss 6 weeks of football? And as far as I know there has been no mention of you going to the league!??!?!!?!? Word? Is that what’s hot in the streets?
2. So you know about the “Safe Haven” law that allows persons to leave (usually newborn) kids at designated places to become wards of the state and the such. The law was designed to discourage people from harmfully discarding the children. Welp…..see the problem that recently arose in Nebraska is…..see in Nebraska a child is defined as being under the age of 19. So recently they have had a rash of people flocking in from across the country to discard their kids under this law. In a couple of particular cases that caught my eye we had people drive to Nebraska to abandon kids as old as 13 and 17!!! Yes you read right. My only question is….how the fuck do you abandon a 13 yr old….let alone a 17 yr old? If my mama woulda tried to drop me off in Nebraska at 13 I woulda went straight to the police station and called her. “Mama why you playing? Come back and get me! Imma take the garbage out!!!” You just cant abandon 13 and 17 yr olds. Thats not even practical. You’ve raised them now! Make ‘em go get a job and put in like my mama did. And while they’ve recently changed the law in Nebraska to prevent this…but still! For real people? For real?
3. Ashley Todd of Texas claimed that she went to the ATM after leaving a Republican phone bank in Pittsburgh (made no sense to me either, but whatever!). While at the ATM she was approached and robbed of $60 at knifepoint by a “6′4 dark skinned African-American male”. So at some point either during or immediately after the robbery, the robber notices a McCain sticker on her car and becomes enraged! So much to the point that he begins to beat and kick her. Then after all the punching and kicking he allegedly carves a ‘B’ in her cheek. Sounds pretty fucked up, right? And if it really went down like young Ashley says it did then it really is fucked up. HOWEVER…….some shit just doesnt seem right yall. So while he is in the act of robbing her, he notices her bumper sticker?!?!? Then he carves her face, right? Like my teammate Veronica says… “How the hell you carve a perfect “B” in someone’s cheek with them squirming and trying to get away and shit?” We’re wondering if he used a butterknife. How you get robbed with a butterknife? Oh and so you decide to NOT go to the hospital after having your face carved? You decide to go the next day?!?!?!? Anybody else smell that?

I think Im just not gon pick up a paper or read any news sites for a hot minute. These marks is getting my pressure up!

in re to your number 3…. did anyone notice that the “B” is backwards on her face…. as if she carved the “B” on her face in the mirror?????? if im wrong, my bad but… noooo im right… or… whatever.. it just doesn’t seem right that backwards “B”… right?
what irritates me is that my first thought was.. this broad must owe somebody 60 bucks and she hates black folks and she tried to get in two excuses at the same time… this beyotch could start a frickin race war with this bu**sh*t…. It just smells like rotten fish to me…
the kid had to be kidding.. cut my finger off… if I was his mother I’d kick his ass down a flight of stairs and bench him myself for even letting some sh** come out of his mouth like that…. ignoramous!
abandoning kids… don’t get me started… i’m on my 2nd cup of starbucks this morning so it might get ugly.

Lol @ parents dropping off their kids! At this point these kids are out of control and need to know that their parents have options! But really, its sad.
As the for the crazy chick in TX, it just shows how scared they are, these fools are maiming themselves to try and win it.

I really like the kid who wants his finger cut off the most…I mean, when you lose a toe, it throws your balance off a little bit…you kinda have to get used to walking a little differently, right? So does this kid think that losing his pinky WON’T affect the way his game is? Plus, that is just down right stupid.
I think if my parents would have thought about it when I was 15 they probably would have dumped me off somewhere too…especially if they knew I was gonna grow up to be a democrat!
and republicans are just straight up crazy, that is all i know about that last one…

How can anybody be surprised by any of these shenanigans…let’s look at the state of the world today…little girls singing “bust it” baby at the top of their lungs…with their mothers cheering them on!
Case1 Goofy Trevor probably has an even more goofy dad that has drilled in his head that football is everything…so this fool says F it…ima take one for the team…but the real question is if you have to miss 6weeks with a broken finger…how many weeks does NO finger get ya…hmmm
Case2 I wish my momma would have tried to drop me off in another state at 5 let alone 13 or 17…they must be kinda slow…i woulda dropped they ass off 2

1. Okay so when I read this - I was like WTF! But see I am the type to do my own little survey so asked a couple of people who used to bleed athletics when they were younger if they would have done the same thing and to my surpise alllllllll them jokas said probably…hellz if I know the meaning behind the madness but apparently “they” do. (SMDH)
2. LOL….13 and 17 year old - you know I am speechless behind that one. Don’t even know where to begin to comment on that.
3. I knew she was lying as soon I saw that the carving was backwards. I never gave it a second thought after seeing the photo BUT I agree with Sylvia - that sh!t “could have” started a race war - tension already thick as hell as it is!
